- What was Paul’s chief reason for being happy about the gifts the Philippians had sent him? (4:10-19)
- List at least 3 things Paul says about Jesus Christ which show that it is unnecessary to seek any additional way to reach God (Col. 1:12-22)
- Since Christ is all-sufficient, what is the Christian to be content to do? (2:6-7)
- What practical effect will submission to the Lordship of Christ have upon the Christian’s life? (3:1-11)

- What effect had the Thessalonians’ conversion had on the Christians of the surrounding area? (1 Th. 1:7-10)
- How did the changed lives of those who received the gospel prove the godliness of those who had preached the gospel to them? (1:5-6)
